A potential UEFA ban could follow Bukayo Saka’s tunnel altercation as the cause of the heated argument comes to light.

Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal could be hit with a UEFA suspension following a tunnel incident involving Bukayo Saka during half-time of their Champions League clash with Arsenal ⚽. The Spanish defender, currently sidelined with an ACL injury, was seen approaching Saka as the players headed to the dressing rooms. Footage showed Carvajal placing his hand on the back of Saka’s neck, which led to the Arsenal star pushing him away. Things escalated until teammates and staff stepped in, including Ben White, who confronted Carvajal. 🔥

Reports now suggest the altercation stemmed from Carvajal’s frustration over Saka’s Panenka-style penalty attempt — something he found disrespectful — which Courtois easily saved. Ironically, Carvajal himself scored a Panenka for Spain in 2023. Since he wasn’t part of the matchday squad and still entered the restricted technical area, he may now face a UEFA ban similar to Xabi Alonso’s in 2014. ⚠️
