EXCLUSIVE: José Mourinho’s audacious attempt to launch a covert transfer raid on North London has sparked absolute fury inside the Arsenal boardroom, with high-ranking executives furious over the Real Madrid manager’s aggressive approach.
Sources confirm that Mourinho took matters into his own hands by making a direct call to negotiate an unprecedented blockbuster deal for one of Mikel Arteta’s cornerstone superstars. The direct contact, completely bypassing standard club-to-club protocols, caught Arsenal officials entirely off guard and immediately prompted a scathing response from executive leadership at London Colney.
When pressed by reporters in Madrid regarding his audacious pursuit, the Portuguese manager showed zero remorse, delivering a cold declaration that will only heighten tensions between both European giants.
> “I don’t care how long his contract is in North London, he is my absolute dream signing and we will get this deal over the line,” Mourinho asserted bluntly. “He possesses something rare in modern football, and when Real Madrid comes knocking, nobody stays behind.”

Boardroom Fury in London
Arsenal executives have moved swiftly to shut down any possibility of negotiations, reinforcing their stance that no key member of Arteta’s squad is for sale at any price. The Gunners’ hierarchy views the approach not only as a violation of professional courtesy but as a deliberate attempt to destabilize their campaign following their recent Premier League success.
Senior figures within the club have reportedly sent a stern message back to the Spanish capital, making it clear that further unsanctioned inquiries will not be tolerated.
However, the ripple effects are already being felt behind closed doors. Reports confirm that while Arsenal remains firm on their non-negotiable stance, the player’s representatives are officially aware of Madrid’s interest and the massive financial package being framed in the background.
With Mourinho known for relentless persuasion when targeting top talent, Arsenal will be desperate to close ranks quickly and block out the escalating noise from the Bernabéu.
