Juventus has shown interest in Arsenal’s Charlie Patino, as revealed by market broker Michele Fratini. Tuttosport has provided updates on the Serie A club’s efforts to secure the 20-year-old midfielder, who is currently on loan at Swansea City since the start of the 2022/23 season.

The England U21 international has demonstrated notable performance with three goals and four assists this season, prompting Serie A side Juventus to consider acquiring his services. Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ technical director, has visited London to handle various matters, including discussions related to Patino.

It is reported that Juventus has been monitoring the Arsenal-owned player for a significant period and now believes it is the opportune moment to pursue the transfer. Giuntoli aims to advance the operation next month, given that Inter Milan is also expressing interest in Patino.

According to Tuttosport, Arsenal is seeking at least €20 million for the transfer, presenting a challenge for Juventus. The report suggests that Giuntoli may attempt to offset this by proposing Moise Kean as part of the deal with Mikel Arteta’s side.

Moise Kean, the former Everton striker, has not scored a goal or registered an assist in 12 games this season. Tuttosport defends Kean’s performance, attributing his lack of success to VAR decisions rather than opposing defenders.

The report does not specify whether Arsenal is open to the proposed ‘sensational exchange’ involving Kean and Patino.
