With Antoine Semenyo reportedly bound for Manchester City, Liverpool are exploring alternative options to strengthen their forward line. The recent injury to Alexander Isak has increased the need for additional support for Hugo Ekitike, ensuring Mohamed Salah will remain at the club in January. However, the uncertainty around Salah’s long-term future has prompted the club to assess potential long-term attacking recruits.

According to reports, Liverpool have identified two forwards with previous Premier League experience as potential short-term solutions. The first is Dutch international Memphis Depay.
