According to a report in the Daily Star, four players—Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Amad Diallo, and Patrick Dorgu—have been made “untouchable” and will not be sold at any price. But other prominent names such as Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Luke Shaw, Casemiro, Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee, and Andre Onana could be offloaded to create space for new signings.
Mainoo and Garnacho, products of the academy, were the subject of transfer interest in January, and their sale would be counted as pure financial gain under PSR regulations. Chelsea were among the clubs interested, and reports now suggest United would expect more than £65 million for Garnacho if they were to consider a sale.
