According to reports, if Ancelotti suffers two losses to Barcelona in their next five matches, including the Copa del Rey final, he could be dismissed before the season ends. Sky Sports has further claimed that Ancelotti might even leave after the Copa final in Seville on April 26.

It’s been reported that both Ancelotti and his staff were devastated by the Arsenal defeat, considering it a final test for the team. Given the circumstances, it seems Real Madrid is already planning to part ways with him. They are reportedly preparing to appoint a new manager, with former manager Santiago Solari, who had a brief spell in charge in 2018-19, being considered as an interim solution. Solari’s familiarity with the squad makes him a strong candidate for the role, which would likely begin after the season and before the Club World Cup.

In the long term, Real Madrid is eyeing Xabi Alonso from Bayer Leverkusen, though rumors linking them to former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp have also surfaced.
