The Manchester United loanee is set to feature in the Champions League final for Borussia Dortmund against Real Madrid at Wembley.

The winger has faced a challenging period over the past 18 months, falling out of favor at Old Trafford. However, a Champions League win could be the ideal way to make a grand return to the spotlight.

 

In an interview with The Mirror, Joe Cole discussed Sancho’s potential, expressing his desire to coach him.

Cole asserted that there’s no reason why Sancho can’t reach the level of Jude Bellingham or Phil Foden.

“Jadon Sancho is an incredible talent. He is one player I would have liked to coach, to talk to and help him.

There’s no reason why Jadon Sancho can’t be at the level of Jude Bellingham or Phil Foden.

His ability is phenomenal. I feel he needs an arm around his shoulder, and he gets that at Dortmund, where he feels at home.”

Joe Cole would be the perfect mentor for Sancho in many ways. Both are exceptional dribblers who thrived when confident but often struggled to maintain that confidence.

Cole has experienced what Sancho is going through now and could be the right figure to help Sancho get back on track and reignite his Manchester United career.

Perhaps Sancho should reach out to Cole before the next season.
