“I heard he’s leaving Liverpool for a top position in a top club in the Bundesliga and it’s coming from a very reliable source. Rightly deserved if you ask me” – Gary Lineker has mentioned that he’s “heard a little rumor” about what Jurgen Klopp’s next job might be after he departs from Liverpool.

Gary Lineker has “heard a little rumor” about Jurgen Klopp’s plans after leaving Liverpool.
Sunday was an emotional day at Anfield as Klopp bid farewell, concluding a remarkable eight-and-a-half-year tenure at the club.
It was a fitting send-off as Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Wolves, with goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah.
Klopp will now take a break from football, admitting it might even mark his retirement from management.
However, Lineker has heard rumors about what Klopp’s next role could be.
Gary Lineker mentioned on The Rest Is Football podcast that he’s heard rumors about Jurgen Klopp possibly becoming the president of Borussia Dortmund.
“I’m curious to see what Jurgen Klopp does next. I believe he’ll take some time off because he genuinely seems exhausted,” the 63-year-old said.
“You can understand why that job is so demanding. There will be a battle for him in a year or so. I heard a rumor that he might become the president of Borussia Dortmund, which would be amazing.”
Alan Shearer added, “I heard the same, yeah.”
A return to Dortmund wouldn’t be surprising and aligns with Klopp’s idea of possibly not returning to management.
The scrutiny and demands of a club president are much less than those of a manager, so that rumor could indeed come true.
Jurgen Klopp won’t be in a hurry.
Klopp has stated he won’t manage in England again out of respect for Liverpool, so any future coaching role would be abroad.
However, it seems more likely that he’ll take on a role as a president, as Lineker suggested.
Regardless, he won’t rush into his next position, as he has expressed a desire to spend time with his family.
