Liverpool are actively pursuing a €60 million signing and are aggressively working to finalize the deal. However, negotiations may pose challenges and become intricate.

Despite offering a substantial sum that triggered his €60 million (£51M) release clause, the Japanese midfielder opted to stay with his current club.

However, fresh reports indicate that Liverpool is gearing up to make another bid to secure the services of the highly-regarded 22-year-old talent.

In compliance with La Liga regulations, all players must have release clauses in their contracts, including Kubo.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool is actively pursuing a move to bring him to Anfield and urges fans to closely monitor his performances.

They suggest that Liverpool is in “attack mode,” but caution that “negotiations could become complicated.”

This is partly due to Kubo’s reported preference to remain in Spain, despite Liverpool’s persistent pursuit. Whether or not Liverpool’s persistence will yield success remains uncertain.

The club is reportedly considering a £51 million offer to Real Sociedad for Kubo, but ultimately, the decision lies with the player.

As Jurgen Klopp’s time at Liverpool draws to a close this season, there’s speculation about Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield.

While beIN Sports has suggested that Salah may stay for another season, it wouldn’t be surprising if he decides to move on.

If Salah does depart, Liverpool will need a suitable replacement. However, Takefusa Kubo may not be at the level required to fill the shoes of such an iconic and influential player.
