Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly eyeing Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane as the primary candidate to replace Mohamed Salah.

Despite significant interest from the Saudi Pro League during the summer, all offers for Salah from Premier League clubs were turned down.

After Liverpool rejected a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad, it is expected that the club will return in the new year with a higher offer.

Klopp has identified Sane as Salah’s potential successor, and Liverpool is willing to surpass its current transfer record of £85 million to secure the Bayern Munich winger.

Sane joined Bayern Munich in 2020 in a £54.8 million transfer from Manchester City and is currently in his fourth season with the club.
