Jurgen Klopp has verified that a Liverpool key player will be sidelined until the start of the New Year as their unfortunate streak of injuries persists.

Jurgen Klopp, in his recent press conference, confirmed that Thiago Alcantara won’t be back in action until the New Year.

Thiago has been absent from the Liverpool squad since May due to surgery for a persistent hip issue.

His last starting appearance was in February during a Premier League match against Wolves.

Despite returning to team training in August, he encountered another setback as he neared a comeback, extending his absence. Klopp emphasized that Thiago’s return is anticipated at the beginning of the New Year, and the 32-year-old continues to face injury challenges.
