Gravenberch had also recently dealt with a minor hamstring issue sustained while on international duty in October. However, as Liverpool aim to end their three-game Premier League losing streak, he is expected to be fit for selection.

Manager Arne Slot faces a midfield dilemma ahead of the fixture. Curtis Jones delivered a standout performance against Frankfurt, completing 122 passes — the most ever recorded by a Liverpool player in a Champions League game. Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai continues to be one of the team’s most consistent performers this season.

Injury Concerns: Jayden Danns

Liverpool will be without promising forward Jayden Danns, who remains sidelined with ongoing fitness issues. The Liverpool boss added that squad depth remains a concern:

“People think we have 25 or 30 first-team players, but when we run 11-v-11 training sessions, we often need players from the under-21s.”
