Chelsea have reportedly assigned a €50 million (£43m) valuation to forward Christopher Nkunku, who has become a “target” for Bayern Munich this summer.

 

Nkunku, 26, arrived at the Blues from RB Leipzig just last year but suffered an injury-disrupted first season at Stamford Bridge. In spite of limited appearances, the French forward is still highly rated across Europe, with Bayern keeping a close eye on him as they aim to strengthen their attack.

 

Chelsea’s position is firm: with four years remaining on his deal, they feel no urgency to sell and will only entertain bids that match their €50m asking price.

 

Nkunku’s quality is unquestionable. He was named the 2022 Bundesliga “Player of the Season” after a standout period in Germany, where he displayed impressive creativity, adaptability, and a knack for scoring.
