Newcastle United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, according to new reports.

Manager Eddie Howe is said to be accelerating efforts to secure a new centre-forward following Isak’s expression of intent to leave St James’ Park during the current transfer window.

Liverpool have emerged as strong contenders to land Isak, with speculation mounting that the Merseyside club are preparing a significant bid for the Swedish international.

In response, Newcastle have started identifying possible alternatives, with Jackson now among the names under serious consideration, as reported by the *Daily Mail*.

The Senegalese forward, who netted 10 goals in 30 Premier League appearances last season, has also been attracting attention from Manchester United.
