Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided a team update ahead of their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

United will visit the City Ground on Tuesday at 8 p.m., just days after securing a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals, where they will face their fierce rivals, Manchester City.

With only nine league games remaining, Forest will shift focus back to their survival battle. Amorim confirmed that defenders Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro are fit to return after recovering from injuries.

During his pre-match press conference on Monday, Amorim stated, “Luke Shaw is still not ready. He has started training with the team, but we are gradually building him up.”

He also provided updates on other players, saying, “Mason Mount is improving and was on the bench last game. Kobbie Mainoo is nearly fit, Jonny Evans is still recovering, and Lisandro Martinez remains sidelined. However, both Maguire and Yoro are available for selection.”

Additionally, Amorim addressed Ayden Heaven’s condition after he was stretchered off against Leicester City before the international break. “It’s not as serious as initially feared. He is recovering, not ready to play yet, but he will return this season,” he confirmed.
