Jamie Carragher believes that Chelsea’s chances of winning the Premier League will be hindered by two specific players.

He attributes much of their inconsistency to goalkeeper Robert Sánchez and striker Nicolas Jackson, arguing that neither is at the required level. Sánchez, who was recently dropped by Maresca, had made more errors leading to goals than any other Premier League goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Jackson has found the net only once since December, further highlighting Chelsea’s attacking struggles.

Carragher also pointed out that Chelsea once seemed poised to challenge Liverpool and Arsenal in a three-way title race, but their downturn has raised serious concerns. He emphasized that failure to secure Champions League football, especially after significant financial investment, would be a major setback for the club.

Adding to their woes, Chelsea’s early exits from both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup have compounded frustrations. Carragher reminded fans that Chelsea has been a dominant force for nearly two decades, rarely going multiple seasons without silverware.
