Manchester United left-back Tyrell Malacia is reportedly on the radar of Real Betis, who recently secured Antony on loan from the Red Devils.

According to the Daily Mail, Betis could return with an approach for Malacia, as United prepare to finalize the arrival of Patrick Dorgu. The Dutch defender has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since being signed by Erik ten Hag, and his departure could be accelerated by Dorgu’s imminent signing.

With Ruben Amorim now in charge, the Portuguese coach is looking to reshape the squad, potentially offloading players who have not fit into his plans. Antony has already moved on, and Malacia, despite his injury setbacks, may not be the best fit for Amorim’s tactical setup either.

If United part ways with Malacia, it would allow Dorgu to step in as the first-choice left wing-back, while Luke Shaw remains as a backup option. Given Shaw’s injury history, having a fresh and dynamic alternative could be crucial for the squad’s balance.

Dorgu, an exciting young talent, seems well-suited to Amorim’s preferred 3-4-3 system, which requires high-energy, attacking full-backs. While Amorim’s tenure at United has started with challenges, restructuring the squad to better fit his tactical vision could be a key step in turning things around.
