Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham are reportedly keeping a close eye on Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo.

Despite financial constraints in the January transfer window, clubs remain interested in the Cameroon international, who has been in outstanding form this season, registering 13 goals and four assists across all competitions for Brentford.

According to RMC Sport, Mbeumo remains a potential target as the transfer window progresses. Arsenal are seeking attacking reinforcements following Gabriel Jesus’ long-term injury, while Spurs are dealing with their own injury woes.

The report further states that Brentford will not consider selling Mbeumo for less than £50 million, though they anticipate other clubs could make a move before the window closes.

Signed for £5.5 million in the summer of 2019, the French U21 international has amassed 63 goals in 225 appearances for Brentford, making him a valuable asset in the transfer market.

Antony’s Potential Departure from Manchester United

Meanwhile, Manchester United are engaged in discussions with multiple clubs, including Spanish side Real Betis, regarding a possible January loan move for Antony.

The Brazilian winger joined United from Ajax in 2022 for £86 million, reuniting with former manager Erik ten Hag. However, he has struggled to make an impact, contributing just 17 goal involvements in two-and-a-half seasons and often finding himself on the bench.

Greek club Olympiacos have shown interest in Antony, but Sky Sports reports that United are in active negotiations with Betis and another unnamed club over a potential deal.

“Manchester United are in ongoing talks with a number of clubs – including Real Betis – over a loan for Antony,” Sky Sports stated. “United will consider offers for the 24-year-old, with a loan being the most likely outcome. Betis are searching for a winger after selling Assane Diao to Como.”

Antony’s current contract at United runs until 2027, with an option for a 12-month extension. However, given his struggles at Old Trafford, an extension appears unlikely at this stage.
