I expect charges for failing to control players in this case as well.”

Hackett also noted that if VAR had been in use, the outcome could have been different. Losing Manuel Ugarte, who has been key to United’s midfield alongside Kobbie Mainoo, would be a major blow for manager Ruben Amorim, potentially overshadowing what was otherwise a significant victory for the Red Devils.
