“Yes, they will sell him because the board doesn’t care about the progress of the club. They only care about the money. This is what landed Manchester United in the situation they are in today” – This is according to Chelsea Legend Frank Leboeuf as Chelsea owners are expected to let the star player leave, as it’s claimed they “don’t care” about the club.
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf believes the current Blues ownership will eventually sell Cole Palmer, as their priority lies in profit-making rather than the club's well-being.
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf believes the current Blues ownership will eventually sell Cole Palmer, as their priority lies in profit-making rather than the club’s well-being.
Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City just over a year ago, has quickly established himself as one of the Premier League’s top players, exceeding expectations after previously being on the fringes of Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Leboeuf suspects that if a substantial offer comes in, Chelsea would be willing to cash in on the England international to make a profit.
However, the former French World Cup winner is doubtful whether a club like Real Madrid would pursue Palmer, given that they already have a similar English talent in Jude Bellingham, who has been exceptional since joining them last year.
When asked about the possibility of Chelsea selling Cole Palmer, Frank Leboeuf told Safest Casino Sites, “They bought him at a very reasonable price. If they receive an offer around £100 million, it aligns with their business approach, which is based on trading.
“Not selling him for £100 million after purchasing him for approximately £45 million would contradict their business model. The fans might be disappointed, but passing up such an opportunity would be financially unwise.
“So yes, they will likely sell him because their priority is profit, not the club’s success. The owners focus on making money, while the results matter more to the fans.”
“It’s similar to what’s happening at Manchester United and probably Liverpool, where the boards are primarily focused on money.
“But for Real Madrid, buying Palmer wouldn’t make much sense. They don’t need him since they already have Jude Bellingham. Where would you fit Cole Palmer in? On the bench?”
