“He is just too slow for the position he is playing. Watching him closely would make you realize that he is slow physically and mentally. And he also lacks position awareness. Loan him out to Juventus because he’s not ready for the Premier League” – This is according to Premier League legend Paolo Di Canio as Manchester United’s summer signing has been labeled as ‘slow’ and advised to move on following a ‘crazy’ transfer involving Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Paolo Di Canio believes that a loan move to Juventus would be beneficial for both Joshua Zirkzee and Manchester United.

Paolo Di Canio believes that a loan move to Juventus would be beneficial for both Joshua Zirkzee and Manchester United.

Zirkzee, who joined United from Bologna in the summer after helping the Italian club secure Champions League qualification, has struggled to adapt to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old, signed for a fee higher than his £34 million release clause under an agreement by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, scored on his debut but has since found it difficult to make an impact.

Di Canio, a former West Ham player, considers Zirkzee “too slow” for English football and suggests that while he is a capable all-around player, he is not likely to deliver 25 goals in a season.

He criticized United’s recent transfer strategies and argued that a loan spell could help Zirkzee regain his form. Di Canio noted that Juventus would be a suitable destination, providing a different type of striker compared to Dusan Vlahovic.

Meanwhile, Lazio president Claudio Lotito called former United player Mason Greenwood a “mercenary” after the forward chose Marseille over Lazio in the recent transfer window, indicating that Lazio only wants players committed to the club.
