“I am worried that he is not going to improve. I am not going to use him today. And if this kind of performance continues he will have to leave on loan to gain experience” – Chelsea coaches are reportedly “very worried” about the lack of progress in the development of a recent signing.

Chelsea’s first-team coaches are reportedly worried about Kendry Paez’s lack of development.

The 17-year-old was signed last summer after an impressive season where he contributed to 12 goals in 32 appearances.

Chelsea secured a £17.3 million deal with Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle and are set to bring Paez to Stamford Bridge when he turns 18 in May.

However, *Football Villle* reports that the club’s staff are “very worried” about his recent performances, which have raised concerns.

Chelsea coaches have been closely reviewing footage of Paez, fearing that he may not meet the high demands of the Premier League.

Considering the number of players Chelsea have already registered, particularly in central midfield, it would be quite surprising if Kendry Paez were to immediately join Enzo Maresca’s first team upon his arrival.

The most likely scenario for the young South American next season is that he will be sent out on loan, possibly within England, to gain valuable experience.
