Manchester United have sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham United and are now awaiting confirmation on the deals for Bayern Munich players Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has completed his £15 million transfer from Manchester United to West Ham United.

The 26-year-old right-back made 190 appearances for United in all competitions after being signed from Crystal Palace for £50 million under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019. During his time at the club, Wan-Bissaka scored two goals, provided 13 assists, and won both League Cup and FA Cup medals.

His departure has opened up space in Erik ten Hag’s evolving squad for the arrival of Noussair Mazraoui.

The former Ajax right-back, along with Matthijs de Ligt, is set to be unveiled by United after Ineos secured a double transfer deal worth around £51.5 million, including add-ons.

Wan-Bissaka has signed a seven-year contract with West Ham. He leaves with United’s blessing, and several of his now-former teammates have already reached out to wish him well.

Jadon Sancho, who has been reintegrated into the squad this summer after a public disagreement with manager Ten Hag last season, was among the first to comment on Wan-Bissaka’s Instagram post after the transfer was confirmed.

In a six-word reply, Sancho said: “My family! All the best brother!” He also added a fingers-crossed emoji and a red heart emoji.

Other United players, including Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes, also commented, as did former teammates like David De Gea, Eric Bailly, Kobbie Mainoo, and Donny van de Beek with various emojis.

Wan-Bissaka expressed his gratitude to United, their fans, and his social media followers for helping him “fulfil so many dreams” during his time at Old Trafford.
