Liverpool’s former disappointment is now considered the premier player in the another league and is expected to command a price exceeding £17 million.He blames his lack of ability in Liverpool on the head coach Jurgen Klopp.

Arthur Melo, currently on loan at Fiorentina, has reclaimed his status as the top player in Serie A after a challenging period with Liverpool in the Premier League.

This resurgence reflects his ability to bounce back, proving that true class is enduring, as the saying goes.

During the 2022/23 season, Arthur Melo’s stint at Liverpool was marred by a mere 13 minutes of playing time, as persistent injuries not only hindered his chances of thriving with the team but also raised uncertainties about his entire career.

However, having overcome those fitness challenges in Florence, Arthur is now making a remarkable comeback.

According to his agent, Federico Pastorello, even the prolific Lautaro Martinez and the resurgent Dusan Vlahovic find it challenging to match Arthur’s current level of performance.

“I am thrilled for Arthur. The past year presented various challenges for him. Arriving at Liverpool towards the end of the transfer window meant missing out on training, and he faced a significant injury,” Pastorello shares with Radio Serie A.

“Fiorentina seized the opportunity, and today, Arthur is arguably the standout player in the league.”

Fiorentina holds a £17 million option-to-buy clause in Arthur’s contract. Pastorello doesn’t rule out the possibility of the player, once highly praised by former Barça teammate Lionel Messi, leaving Juventus for an even higher sum.

However, any interested club would understandably have reservations about Arthur’s injury record, which could make even Anthony Martial wince.

Regarding a potential transfer sum, Pastorello comments, “€20 million? I would say (he could leave Juventus) for even more.

(The clause) was included because it was deemed appropriate, and there’s also the salary issue, as it doesn’t align with La Viola’s parameters. But we are only halfway through the journey.”

“We are focused on maintaining this momentum, and at the end of the season, we will draw conclusions. I can only say one thing: Arthur feels fantastic in Florence. Even as a former Juventus player, the warm reception from the fans was not at all expected.”
