This evening, Manchester United officially announced the departure of a crucial player.

Sergio Reguilon, who joined Manchester United on loan in the summer of 2023, is set to return to Tottenham Hotspur.

Initially brought in to address United’s left-back depth issues, Reguilon made a significant contribution during his 12 appearances.

However, with the recovery of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, coupled with other versatile options, United has decided it’s practical for Reguilon to go back to Tottenham.

The break clause in the loan agreement offers flexibility, and Spurs might retain him for the season.
