Manchester City and Liverpool are set to vie for the signature of a Bayern Munich player.

As per The Sun, Manchester City and Liverpool are poised for a competitive pursuit of Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane.

Christian Falk of BILD Sport has indicated that both clubs hold an interest in the winger and may consider making a move for him in the summer of 2024.

If this materializes, it would mark the 27-year-old’s return to the Premier League, where he previously secured two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, three EFL Cups, and two FA Community Shields.

Since his stint with Bayern Munich, Sane has added three Bundesliga titles, two DFL-Supercups, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup to his list of achievements.

The German national has amassed 135 appearances for Manchester City across all competitions, contributing with 47 goals and 44 assists.

His impressive resurgence this season has captured the attention of Manchester City and Liverpool, as he has featured in 18 games for Bayern Munich, registering nine goals and seven assists.

Notably, he is just eight goal contributions away from matching his performance in the 2022/23 season with Bayern, where he recorded 14 goals and 10 assists in 44 appearances.
